The purpose of this blog is to popularize Bulgarian embroidery and textile crafts. Weaving is amongst the oldest crafts in the world. For centuries, Bulgarian women have woven textiles for garments, home decoration and bedding. The colors and geometrical forms in the Bulgarian textiles have established themselves throughout the centuries and are carriers of the Bulgarian culture uniting the nation to this day.
